Ubud in the heart of Bali is the centre of Arts.

The reputation of Ubud was grounded in the thirties of the last century.  Impulses from foreigners, like Walter Spies, Margaret Mead, Rudolf Bonnet and others, the foundation of the Pita Maha, a group of Balinese artists, it all was important for the development of a unique Bali Style.

 

We show you two museums and some beautiful places:

First we go to the Neka Museum.

 

Close to it, between two rivers we admire the Pura Gunung Lebah, a beautiful temple.

 

We have a break in the centre of Ubud. Lunch in the Café Lotus. The art market is very close.

 

We then go to the Agung Rai Museum of Art, the ARMA. Build on the private collection of Mr. Agung Rai.
